Muay Chaiya
Guard, footwork and close-range striking from the Chaiya system.

The old fighting arts of southern Thailand, taught one to one by Kru Chane when he is at the gym. Message us first to check dates.
Muay Chaiya comes from Chaiya in Surat Thani and was once taught to royal guards. It keeps a low, closed guard, the “ป้อง ปัด ปิด เปิด” principle of guard, parry, close and open, and relies on elbows, knees and short, sharp counters.
It suits people who want to understand defence, not just hit hard. Many Muay Thai fighters train it to tighten their guard.

Krabi Krabong is the Thai art of armed combat. You learn footwork, cuts, blocks and forms with traditional weapons, starting with wooden practice versions.
